We offer four superb home sleep tests that you can order. Sleep Test #1 includes the Ares, Z Machine, and SleepImage types of sleep studies, and Sleep Test #2 allows you to purchase the NightOwl sleep study without a medical doctor's diagnosis or interpretation. Test #2 was created so that DOT truck drivers can get a test without having a medical person see the data unless they opt to have that done later. The report you get with test #2 is a machine-scored test that allows you to get an idea of your sleep status anonymously.
The models of sleep devices we use include the Ares Home Sleep Test, Z Machine, or SleepImage Test in the #1 Option, the SleepImage for Test #3, and the NightOwl for the #2 sleep test. All come with easy instructions for use. You will be sent one of the models that you choose.
The SleepImage Test is the only one offered on our site that can be used on children as young as 2. The test will be sent to you, and then you will return the device to us after recording one or two nights of sleep with the return label we send along with the test. The NightOwl and SleepImage tests fit on one finger, and both have the ability to do more than one night of study.
All our sleep tests are private and will not be shared with insurance carriers, government agencies, or medical examiners or appear in your medical record. The NightOwl is the most private sleep study you can get. No one will even interpret or diagnose it without your permission. The NightOwl and SleepImage are perfect DOT trucking industry sleep studies for those who want to know before they decide. It works from your phone app.
If you are a DOT-regulated airline pilot, you will need to order the Z Machine sleep study. It is a more detailed type 2 sleep study and is required for pilots. We will ship the test to you with a return label included. If you desire that step, we have fast telemedicine MD, DO, and NP specialists ’ diagnosis and prescription services for this device.
The Home Sleep Test MD Diagnostic Services were developed for professionals who want their in-office home sleep tests diagnosed by a Board Certified Sleep Specialist licensed in all 50 States. It is not a service for patients or non-professionals to order unless you, as a patient, have already ordered a NightOwl test. If you are a patient who ordered a NightOwl test, it is now also available to those who ordered that NightOwl test and now want a sleep specialist diagnosis. (No telemedicine call or prescription for treatment is included).
Please note for dentists and other professionals: Make sure before you order a sleep test that your State laws and Professional Board do not prohibit you from doing so. However, patients can also order any of these home sleep tests on their own without the restrictions of state laws or professional Boards.
